The thermal desorption spectra of morphine, heroin, codeine, and papaverine have beenstudied at different temperatures TE of the surface ionization emitter. It was found that the dependence of the temperature of the maximum of thermal desorption spectra on the emitter TE is observed at certain low values of the emitter TE, is different for different studied substances, and disappears at higher values of the emitter TE. On the basis of thermal desorption spectrometry and mathematical modeling of the ion formation process based on the patterns of surface ionization of particles under non-stationary conditions; it was found that this dependence arises due to the dependence of the rate of heterogeneous processes occurring during the adsorption of molecules on the emitter surface on the emitter TE.
