The results of examination and treatment of 262 patients with post-traumatic cicatricial strictures of the hepatic ducts (222 patients, 84.7%), as well as cicatricial stenosis of biliodigestive anastomoses (40 patients, 15.3%), which developed earlier after injury to the common bile duct, were analyzed in the period from 2007 to 2024. The main clinical manifestations of bile duct strictures are cholangitis, jaundice, and external biliary fistula, while the main laboratory finding is cholestasis syndrome. Among diagnostic methods, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRP) is the most informative. In terms of long-term results, the most significant method of surgical treatment for the majority of post-traumatic cicatricial strictures of the common hepatic duct is biliodigestive anastomosis performed on a loop of small intestine excluded by the Roux-en-Y method.
