Femoral fractures and their complications, i.e., their transformation into false joints, are one of the main pressing problems of modern traumatology and often require total endoprosthetics. The formation of this condition is related to the characteristics of the blood supply to the upper part of the femur, a decrease in bone density, and a general deterioration in the patient's health, which is more common in elderly people. Total endoprosthetics for femoral fractures is a preferred method that allows the patient to recover faster after surgery, shorten the rehabilitation period, and return to an active lifestyle faster, improving their quality of life. [2] Total endoprosthetics involves complete replacement of the femoral head and neck, as well as the hip joint, with artificial components that provide complete or partial replacement of the joint and bone structure.
