The composition of the representatives of the plant Artemisia annua L. in different geographical regions has been studied by scientists around the world. However, the chemical composition of its representatives growing in Uzbekistan has not yet been fully studied. This study provides isolation and quantification of artemisinin from an annual wormwood plant in Uzbekistan, particularly in the Fergana Valley, and its analysis by IR and Mass Spectra.
