Co-infection with HIV infection and chronic viral hepatitis C (CHC) is characterized by as few symptoms and mild severity of the CVC cytolytic syndrome. Pathogenetic features of HIV/CVHC co-infection are manifested by hyperproduction of cytokines necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) and interleukin 10 (IL-10).
