Annotatsiya

Rickettsial infection (RFI) has been and remains one of the most important problems of both domestic and foreign epidemiology [G.G. Onishchenko et al., 2000; 2005; E.I. Korenberg, 2016; Reisen W.K., 2010; Barrios JM, 2012]. Potential activity is due to the presence of conditions for the preservation and reproduction of ixodid ticks, as evidenced by patients who applied to medical organizations with tick bites. Based on the foregoing, there is an urgent need for a comprehensive study, including the study of ixodid ticks as a source of transmission of rickettsial infection. This article presents the results of a study of ticks in the Samarkand region and shows the percentage of ticks infected with rickettsial infection.
