As is known, the teaching of foreign language speech in practical classes is carried out through listening, speaking, reading and writing. This article comprehensively studies the peculiarities of writing formation in foreign language class. The research works of foreign and domestic scientists within the framework of this topic are analysed. Effective methods of teaching students written speech when teaching a foreign language are proposed. As it is known, written speech is expressed by reading and writing. In the process of analysing texts related to the type of speech activity, students, while perceiving the author’s thought, express their attitude to the content of the text, express positive and critical opinion towards it. Through the writing-speech activity, students create a text within a particular topic that encourages them to spin and respond. Also as a result of developing writing skills through regular exercises, students become active participants in social life. Practical lessons suggest the use of the associagram, cluster, W-questions(W-Fragen) and other writing methods. Thanks to effective writing methods in teaching a foreign language, students acquire linguistic, linguocultural knowledge.
