This article discusses the formation of computational linguistics, the stages of its development, and its role in modern linguistics. It also separately examines the place of research conducted in this field in natural language processing, practical and theoretical computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, and Uzbek stylistics. In addition, the article demonstrates the connection between computational linguistics, artificial intelligence, acceleration technologies, and linguistics.
