This article provides a comparative linguocultural analysis of the linguistic representation of the concepts of wisdom and foolishness within the phraseosemantic field of the Uzbek and English languages. The study examines phraseological units expressing intelligence, wisdom, insight, experience, and knowledge, as well as those denoting foolishness, shortsightedness, and lack of understanding from semantic and cultural perspectives. Particular attention is paid to the common and nationally specific features of Uzbek and English phraseological units, as well as to the ways in which they reflect the worldview, values, and mentality of their speakers. The findings reveal the place of the concepts of wisdom and foolishness within the phraseosemantic field, the mechanisms of their linguistic realization, and their linguocultural significance in both languages.
