This study examines the pragmatic dimensions of English diplomatic discourse, focusing particularly on its relevance for teaching and learning fundamental principles in this field. It analyzes how the development of pragmatic competence within diplomatic settings supports effective international communication and proposes pedagogical strategies aimed at improving learners’ understanding of English used in diplomatic contexts.
