The article analyzes the genre nature, artistic structure, socio-pedagogical functions, and cultural significance of children’s play folklore. Children’s play folklore is interpreted as a syncretic form of oral tradition that combines verbal text, movement, rhythm, intonation, collective rules, and performance context. The paper focuses on counting-out rhymes, game calls, dialogic formulas, tongue twisters, movement games, imitative play, and seasonal children’s texts as important elements of children’s socialization and cultural memory.
