This article analyzes the contribution of Eastern thinkers to the development of natural sciences and the study of their scientific heritage in 20th-century Turkish historiography. The scientific activities of scholars such as Beruni, Ibn Sina, al-Khwarizmi, and al-Farghani are examined based on historical and methodological approaches. The article also provides a comparative analysis of how this heritage is interpreted in Turkish historiography from civilizational and national identity perspectives, alongside modern Uzbek academic studies. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of Eastern scientific heritage in the development of world science.
