This article provides a comparative analysis of hospitality etiquette and value systems using proverbs from the Russian and Karakalpak peoples. The study demonstrates that in both cultures, hospitality is not only a social obligation but also an important spiritual value. From a linguacultural perspective, the similarities and national-cultural differences in the paroemiological foundations of the two languages are highlighted.
