This article examines the translation of humor devices in cross-cultural communication between English and Uzbek languages, focusing on their linguo-pragmatic features. The study analyzes semantic, pragmatic, and stylistic variations of humor shaped within distinct cultural contexts. Special attention is given to issues of equivalence, contextual adequacy, cultural adaptation, and functional transformation during translation. The research aims to identify linguo-pragmatic barriers typical of intercultural communication and proposes effective translation strategies for overcoming these challenges.
