This article examines project-based learning technology as an effective tool for developing the professional competencies of future teachers. It outlines the theoretical foundations of project-based learning, the features of its implementation in the educational process of pedagogical universities, and the results of its practical application. The article substantiates the significance of project activities in developing students’ research, communicative, organizational, and reflective competencies, which are essential for the successful performance of pedagogical activities in the context of educational modernization.
