This paper examines the category of terminativity (boundedness) as one of the key aspectual characteristics of the verb in German. The primary focus is on the lexical-semantic means of its expression through simple and derived verbs. The study systematizes and analyzes the main classes of telic verbs: inchoative (ingressive), egressive (terminative), mutative (verbs of change of state), and causative. Special attention is given to the status of so-called neutral verbs (e.g., gehen, fahren), whose aspectual characteristics are context-dependent and remain a subject of ongoing debate in Germanic linguistics. The research draws on theoretical approaches proposed by both domestic scholars (S. Rakhmonkulova, Yu. S. Maslov) and foreign linguists (W. Streitberg, H. Pollak). The analysis is illustrated with examples from German, demonstrating the role of prefixes, functional verbal constructions, and lexical semantics in expressing the inherent endpoint of an action.
