This article is devoted to the study of the complex derivation of zeugmatic constructions in the Uzbek language, which has so far remained insufficiently explored. The relevance of the research is determined by the need for a systematic description of these constructions and for identifying the mechanisms underlying their formation and functioning. A comparative analysis with the German language makes it possible to gain a deeper understanding of both the universal and typologically specific features of zeugma. The findings contribute to clarifying the principles of syntactic organization in languages of different types and broaden our understanding of the interaction between grammatical and semantic factors in the process of speech activity.
