This article examines the phase of duration as a component of aspectual semantics in Tajik, in comparison with Uzbek and German. The study focuses on analytic verbal constructions and phase (functional) verbs as the primary means of expressing durativity. It demonstrates that in all three languages the durative phase is predominantly realized through analytic and contextual means, while differing in their formal representation.
