Issues related to teaching Russian phonetics in educational institutions where instruction is conducted in a language that is not native to students have remained a subject of active discussion for many years. Phonetic processes play a crucial role in the successful development of communicative competence in Russian as a foreign language. In this regard, the development of effective textbooks and methodological materials for teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL), as well as the professional training of teachers specializing in this field, becomes particularly important.
