Boboyorov, Kh. A. Sarimsoqov, and N. B. Kuldasheva, who investigate sports lexis using comparative, anthropocentric, and linguocultural approaches. It offers a comparative analysis of the semantic, derivational, and nation-cultural features of terms in English, French, and Uzbek, tracing the development of sports terminology and its social functions. The article outlines the role of sports terms in the linguistic worldview and concludes with recommendations for future research, highlighting novel approaches at the intersection of linguistics and cultural studies.
