Annotatsiya

This article is dedicated to a comparative linguistic analysis of the Uzbek proverb “Birlashgan o‘zar birlashmagan to‘zar” and the English proverb “The early bird gets the worm”. The main objective of the research is to identify the semantic and pragmatic features of both proverbs, as well as to highlight their similarities and differences from a linguistic point of view. Philosophical perspectives on the success of society and the individual, expressed in proverbs, and how they are reflected through linguistic means, are examined. In particular, figurative expressions such as metaphor and metonymy, their grammatical structure, and their use in a cultural-pragmatic context are analyzed. The research results uncover the deep semantic layers of the proverbs and demonstrate their significance for representatives of various cultures, thereby creating new opportunities for the study of comparative linguistics and intercultural communication.
