This article analyzes the neuropsycholinguistic foundations, diagnostic sensitivity, and role of the national neuropsycholinguistic diagnostic test “DonoQiz-Uz” in assessing children's reading performance. The study allows us to identify the stages of development of cognitive mechanisms such as phonological decoding, semantic understanding, and inference in children. The article also discusses the possibilities of educational intervention and the formation of an individual approach based on the test results.
