This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the development and enhancement of critical thinking skills. Critical thinking involves the ability to solve complex problems, make evidence-based decisions, and think independently. AI-based tools, including learning-oriented algorithms and interactive platforms, help students and learners to analyze information critically and approach problems from diverse perspectives. The article explores the didactic potential of AI, supported by practical applications and international examples. It concludes that AI can serve as an effective tool in fostering critical thinking in educational settings.
