The phonemic system of a language constitutes its sound system. Each language possesses a unique phonemic structure, and there are significant differences among these systems. This article presents a comparative analysis of the phoneme systems in Uzbek, English, Korean, Spanish, and Russian. It highlights the number, types, positional characteristics in pronunciation, and phonological roles of phonemes in these languages.
