The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of applying mediation in notarial practice. It analyzes the legal relationship between the institutions of notary services and mediation, their common principles, and the challenges of legal regulation and conflict-of-interest prevention. The study substantiates the need to expand the mediation powers of notaries and improve the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in line with international standards.
