The article analyzes the impact of academic mobility and international cooperation on university rankings from a pedagogical perspective. The study substantiates that academic mobility, including the exchange of students, teaching staff, and young researchers, as well as international cooperation, including joint and double degree programs, international grants, and coauthored research, are not merely statistical indicators that improve ranking metrics. They are also pedagogical mechanisms that enrich educational content and develop the competencies of students and teachers. According to the results of the analysis, the impact of these factors on rankings is manifested through four pedagogical directions: the formation of intercultural and global competencies, scientific coauthorship and knowledge exchange, mentoring, and the expansion of the academic community. The article highlights directions for integrating these mechanisms into the pedagogical practice of higher education institutions.
