This article examines the improvement of mechanisms for determining and approving output norms for goods placed under the inward processing customs procedure. The study analyzes the consideration of technological losses, production waste, and natural losses during cargo operations. It also proposes strengthening the role of authorized persons, introducing a unified methodological approach, and implementing digital control systems in the establishment of output norms. These proposals are aimed at enhancing transparency in customs control and improving the efficiency of foreign economic activity.
