The article explores theoretical and practical issues related to the use of digital educational resources (DERs) in the training of future history teachers at higher education institutions. It reveals cognitive models for the development of historical thinking, the didactic potential of digital technologies, and the stages of developing students’ analytical skills. The role of the latest pedagogical technologies of 2024–2025, particularly artificial intelligence and immersive environments in history education, is analyzed.
