In the period of rapid scientific and technological development, rapid growth of scientific knowledge and its wide application in production, one of the main tasks of education is the development of creative thinking, cognitive abilities of students, the ability to learn. The solution to this problem is inextricably linked to the activation of training, with the development of a system of teaching methods and techniques aimed at the formation of students' cognitive activity, their assimilation of educational material, the development of intellectual abilities and creative thinking of students. The development of creative thinking is pivotal in ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills to identify effective solutions to any problems, achieve the desired result, and realise their full potential. The purpose of this study is to reveal the peculiarities of students' creative thinking development in the teaching and learning process.
