This article examines in detail the role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in ensuring cybersecurity, as well as their potential for countering cyberattacks. It analyzes the importance of AI and machine learning (ML) technologies in risk identification, vulnerability management, and the development of automated protection systems. Special attention is also paid to the negative aspects associated with the use of AI, including the possibility of its exploitation by cybercriminals. The study provides a detailed description of the interrelationships, advantages, and disadvantages of implementing AI technologies in the field of cybersecurity, based on an analysis of current scientific literature.
