This article deeply examines the linguocognitive and linguocultural aspects of financial and economic terms in English and Uzbek languages based on linguistic analysis. The study analyzes the mechanisms of term formation, their semantic structures, cognitive maps, and cultural connotations in context. It also highlights the peculiarities of the translation process of these terms, particularly regarding cultural and semantic equivalence and stylistic equivalence. The article demonstrates not only the role of economic terms as part of the scientific and technical lexical layer but also their social and cultural functions. The analyses show that understanding economic terms in English and Uzbek and translating them correctly requires consideration of both a linguocognitive approach and cultural contexts. This article contributes to the fields of modern linguistics, including terminology, translation studies, and cognitive linguistics.
