This article analyzes the managerial skills of school principals within the educational management system, their essence and content, as well as the requirements imposed on them in the context of the modern education system. The effective functioning of an educational institution largely depends on the professional management competencies of the school principal. The study analyzes scholarly views on the managerial activity of school principals in educational management theory and highlights the importance of principals’ strategic, organizational, and communicative management skills in the modern education system.
