The article examines the problem of developing students’ emotional intelligence in the context of the modernization of higher education based on the axiological approach. The necessity of integrating value orientations into the process of forming the emotional competence of future specialists is substantiated. The purpose of the study is to theoretically justify and experimentally verify the effectiveness of a pedagogical model for developing students’ emotional intelligence grounded in axiological principles. The research employed methods of theoretical analysis, psychodiagnostic techniques, pedagogical experimentation, and statistical data processing. The obtained results indicate a statistically significant increase in the level of emotional intelligence in the experimental group compared with the control group. It is concluded that the implementation of axiologically oriented educational technologies in university practice is both appropriate and effective.
