The article investigates the pedagogical potential of Uzbek folklore genres in developing the oral speech of primary school students (Grades 2–3). Through comparative analysis and experimental methods, the effectiveness of folklore samples in enhancing students’ vocabulary and logical thinking is demonstrated. The research results indicate that the systematic integration of folklore materials into the educational process increases speech activity by 25% and reduces speech barriers. Consequently, methodological recommendations have been developed for integrating folk art into Mother Tongue and Reading Literacy lessons.
