This article presents a comparative legal analysis of international cooperation in criminal proceedings in the Republic of Uzbekistan and other CIS states, focusing on the provisions of the 1993 Minsk Convention and the 2002 Kishinev Convention. This analysis is particularly relevant as a significant portion of crimes and related evidence, process participants, documents, assets, and digital data are often located across different jurisdictions. The study examines the main forms of interaction: international legal assistance, service of procedural documents, obtaining evidence, search and extradition of persons, transfer of criminal prosecution, and recognition and enforcement of specific procedural decisions. Special attention is given to the issue of procedural reliability of materials obtained through international requests: differences in national procedures and documentation requirements often lead to delays in request execution and disputes over the admissibility of evidence. The aim of this work is to identify similarities and differences in regulation and to determine ways to improve procedures, ensuring more efficient and legally sound international cooperation.
