This article is devoted to the analysis of the constitutional and legal foundations of cooperation between local Councils of People's Deputies and civil society institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article examines the mechanisms of cooperation based on the norms of the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the role of civil society institutions, the powers of local government bodies and the principles of state power serving the interests of the people. Special attention is also paid to the concept of civil society development, cooperation of local Councils with non-governmental and non-profit organizations, social partnership, public control and joint projects. One of the main goals and objectives of the article is to highlight the importance of this cooperation in deepening democratic reforms, solving local problems and strengthening civil society.
