The article provides examples of ways to translate euphemistic units from Uzbek into Russian. The author also analyzes the work done in this direction. The duties of a translator using the Russian translation of a work created in the Uzbek language are listed. The mental features of euphemism emphasize that it does not cover all methods of translation. The article is of a linguoculturological nature and is important as a mental, cultural, comparative-typological study.
