The article is devoted to the literary translation of dysphemisms, which analyzes translation techniques: selection of an analogue, lexical additions, tracing paper, transcription, periphrasis, concretization and generalization (generalization), modulation. Each method is based on translating dysphemisms in a work of art and a scientific conclusion is drawn. Theoretical information and opinions on research works are presented. The purpose of the study is to monitor the effectiveness of dysphemic units in Russian and Uzbek translations, to determine the closest method for translating dysphemisms.
