The article is devoted to the methodology of teaching the Uzbek language, which raises the issue of creating an electronic database. To clar-ify this issue, the researcher used the topic of verb tenses. The verb is con-sidered a difficult topic in teaching the Uzbek language, in this sense the article is relevant. Due to the fact that the topic is related to the perception of representatives of foreign languages, the author used methods of anal-ysis, classification and description based on comparative typological, soci-olinguistic, psycholinguistic, linguocultural criteria of research work. The object of the work is the tenses of verbs of the Uzbek language, the subject of which is the creation of a methodological electronic database on this topic. The results are presented based on the results obtained in the work: they are supported by figures and tables. The work done in this direction is analyzed. The article concludes that this 5-step methodological develop-ment is intended for groups of foreign languages.
