This article presents a comparative analysis of the Republic of Uzbekistan's legislation on AML/CFT (anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing) related to precious metals and stones with the practices of leading countries worldwide. The study examines the main features of Uzbekistan's internal control regulations, as well as similarities and differences with the legislation of the United States, the European Union, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. The article analyzes the strengths of Uzbekistan's system and opportunities for its improvement in the context of international FATF standards.
