This paper examines how the separation of powers at the local level affects the efficiency of public administration in Uzbekistan. It highlights recent constitutional reforms and the growing role of representative bodies in balancing executive authority. Drawing on legal analysis and expert commentary, the study offers a critical appraisal of governance mechanisms and proposes structural improvements to strengthen democratic practices and administrative responsiveness.
