This article explores the pedagogical content of developing social-communicative competence in future teachers based on a learner-centered approach. The author emphasizes that in modern education, the role of the teacher is evolving from merely delivering knowledge to being a social partner, communicator, and mentor. From this perspective, social-communicative competence is understood as a set of skills that enables future teachers to engage in effective communication, collaborate in teams, navigate social environments appropriately, and maintain intercultural interactions. The article analyzes the advantages of a learner-centered approach, its didactic potential, the content of instruction, and methodological strategies for enhancing this competence. Throughout the research, the author provides practical suggestions and recommendations aimed at effectively fostering social-communicative competence in future educators and substantiates their practical relevance. This article may be particularly beneficial for researchers, practicing educators, and education policymakers interested in implementing innovative approaches and improving professional competencies in teacher education.
