The article gives information about the importance of using information technologies in ESP lessons where training methods are applied to enlarge the vocabulary of a foreign language. Special attention is paid to the effectiveness of using game methods which help increase students' motivation, effectively influencing the outcome of the educational process. It is also noted that students consider training to be a very productive and interesting way of obtaining new and useful information, and most importantly, working it out in practice.
