This article analyzes the principles of ideographic classification of lexemes forming the semantic field of "football" in Uzbek, English, and Russian. The study examines the criteria for systematizing football-related terms from a lexicographic perspective. The process of compiling an ideographic dictionary is explored, focusing on the semantic relationships of lexical units, as well as their functional and cognitive characteristics.
