This article analyzes the forms of parliamentary hearings, which are one of the most important tools of parliamentary control, in legislative and scientific-theoretical terms. The article also discusses the issues of hearing feedback from government members on their activities, in particular, improving the effectiveness of the “question time” institute based on national legislation and practice of foreign countries. According to the author, the organizational and legal form of parliamentary activity in the legal literature on the concept of parliamentary hearings is complex, there are practically no complete definitions, and therefore the scientific literature pays attention to certain aspects of this institution. As a result of the adoption of the “Law on Parliamentary Control”, a number of types of parliamentary hearings have been established in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and its legal framework has been improving in recent years.
