This article analyzes the specifics of the object of crimes in the field of ecology. The main aspects related to general, specific, special, and direct objects of crimes in the field of environmental protection and the use of natural resources are considered. The targets of environmental crimes include various natural resources, ecosystems, and public relations that protect human health and well-being. The article analyzes the basic concepts associated with environmental crimes, their social and legal significance, and regulatory measures within the framework of international and national legislation. Recommendations are also given for improving the practice of applying criminal legislation about environmental crimes. The study results highlight the importance of an integrated approach aimed at protecting the environment and ensuring sustainable development.
