This article analyzes the system, types, and forms of public participation in pre-trial proceedings based on international standards and national legislation. The author analyzed the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and proposed a new system of subjects of public participation at the stage of pre-trial proceedings. He also developed proposals for improving criminal procedure legislation.
