This article is devoted to the search and analysis of the origins of innovation in Russian literature of the XIX century. The key figure is the writer A. Nekrasov. The author of the article analyzes examples of innovative approaches and classical traditions using the example of famous writers and their works. The purpose of the study is to expand knowledge about literary processes and their influence on social and cultural movements. Innovation in literature involves the introduction of new ideas, styles, genres and methods that enrich the literary art and open new perspectives for both authors and readers. It allows literature to remain relevant and alive, reflect contemporary issues and arouse the interest of readers. Innovative works inspire other authors to seek new ways of expression and provide readers with works close to modernity.
