Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the pedagogical and methodological potential of using interactive and communicative methods to develop the intercultural competence of future German language teachers. Current trends in foreign language education require learners to acquire a language not merely as a set of linguistic knowledge and skills, but also as a means of effective communication with representatives of different cultures. From this perspective, the professional training of future German language teachers should place particular emphasis on developing their abilities to independently analyze intercultural situations, compare different cultural perspectives, solve communicative problems, and engage in collaborative activities with representatives of other cultures. The article examines the content and practical application mechanisms of such methods as case study, role-play, problem-based situations, the project method, task-based learning, intercultural dialogue and discussion, as well as the modelling of authentic communicative situations. Furthermore, the pedagogical potential of integrating these methods on the basis of competency-based, communicative, and action-oriented approaches is discussed. As a result of the study, a methodological model and a system of practical tasks aimed at developing the intercultural competence of future German language teachers are proposed.
