Annotatsiya

This study examines in detail the role, significance, and practical possibilities of modern notation editors in the art of composition. As a result of the development of digital technologies, notation software has become an essential tool in a composer’s creative activity. Programs such as Sibelius, Finale, Dorico, and MuseScore enable fast and accurate music notation, orchestration, professional editing, storage, and printing of scores and parts. Through MIDI technology, composers can listen to their works, test timbre, dynamics, and rhythmic structure, and identify compositional errors in advance. Modern notation editors accelerate the creative process and expand compositional thinking. The research analyzes their role in music education, their convenience for young composers, the development of independent working skills, efficiency in collaborative projects, and their impact on shaping contemporary musical thinking based on practical examples. In addition, notation editors support copyright protection, format compatibility, distance learning, enhanced pedagogical control, effective collaboration with performers, digitalization and archiving of national musical heritage, and provide broad opportunities for creative experimentation and academic research.
